Malaysia Balloon Festival
The International Balloon Festival will be held from May 9 to May 11 at Dataran Bandaraya, Johor Baru. This event features 10 pilots with balloons from around the world. It is hoped that besides putting Johor on the world map, the festival would boost the state’s tourism industry.
Pilots are excited about coming to Johor as balloon festivals were previously held only in Kuala Lumpur. The attractions to watch for include a night display of illuminated hot air balloons and a race from Dataran Bandaraya to Bandar Nusajaya.You can read about the event here, and find other balloon festivals in Asia.
Besides the balloon displays, other events include skydiving, paragliding, rock climbing, paintball and go-kart races.

Air balloon festival is certainly a tourist attraction I'll check the photos as traveling is not really possible currently

Theres the 1st Putrajaya Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2009 that will be held on the 19 - 22 March 2009 at Presint 2, Putrajaya organised by Malaysian Sport Aviation Federation (MSAF) and Aka Balloon Sdn Bhd; Aka Balloon is the premier Hot air balloon in the country and the only Company that has DCA approved licensed to fly in Malaysia.

I can only watch balloon festival on tv and this looks so fun. every country their own balloon festival and this is the time that space have a little lamp that floating.
